All is set for this year's Tema Country Golf Club Captain's Open Championship scheduled for Tema on Saturday, February 13.
Mr Ebenezer Adabalanu, General Manager of the Club told GNA Sports at Tema on Monday that about 100 amateur and professional golfers are expected to participate in the one-day 18-Hole Stable-ford competition.
He said the competition which would be played in two divisions in each category, would be sponsored by Mr Leonard Kweku Okyere, Captain of the Club.
The General Manager said the competition, which would be played in accordance with the local rules of the Club, has Handicap 18 and 24 respectively as the entry requirement.
The Tema team which would be led by captain Kweku Okyere, would include Felix Owusu-Adjapong, Paul Owusu-Baah, William Asiedu Yeboah, Nana Kwadwo Duku and Alex Fiagomey.
Five prizes would be awarded in the Men's category while three would be given out in the Ladies segment.
