Congress of the Ghana Football Association will wrap up its two-day session Thursday after yesterday's opening event.

The second day gathering of Congress will see its 127 members gather to complete the remaining business on the agenda.

Certain articles in the FA's regulations will be amended.

Articles 37.7, 37.8, 37.9 and 37.10 that deals with protests, appeals and reviews would be amended.

Also, Article 8.8 and 8.9 on the relegation and determination of champions would be amended for all FA competitions.

The opening day of Congress, held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra saw the GFA honour 24 past chairmen of the FA and the Executive Council for their works since the formation of the organisation in 1957.

The list included eight past chairmen who are all deceased.

The evening also saw the sport body decorate its sponsors with awards for their contributions towards the development of the sport.

Sponsors were placed into categories: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
