The Editor-in-Chief of the “New Crusading Guide”, Malik Kweku Baako Jnr, says celebrated Nigerian leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B Joshua, is “seeking to advertise his spiritual prowess” by uploading a taped video conversation with Coach Sellas Tetteh, on the internet.

According to him, Prophet Joshua’s action clearly “distorts his spirituality.”

“What happened to the creative minds of preparation and the commitment Randy Abbey spoke of…what the Pastor is doing is seeking to advertise himself...this is a Pastor who is seeking to advertise his prowess, that’s all…ask yourself why this is on the net (internet)…it’s purely business and distorts his spirituality,” he said during a panel discussion on PEACEFM’s “Kokrokoo”.

Mr. Baako’s outburst had to do with a nine and a half minute footage on YouTube, a video sharing website, where Prophet Joshua is clearly seen and heard, issuing out directives to Coach Sellas Tetteh and later praying with the team, on phone.

The New Crusading Guide Editor-in-Chief, who stopped short of ridiculing the man of God, however, underscored the need not to allow the issue to overly engage the attention of Ghanaians.

“It is just comic relief….something that we should laugh over and let it rest…this is comedy,” he stated.

hey Ghananians, why are you persecuting the man of GOD like this. The man of GOD just said what he was told by GOD, nothing more. so dont waste your time on this issue because at the end you are not achieving anything by critising him.

It's True
Why should we allow a journalist to tell us who is a man of God? Please, test all things and hold fast to that which is true. Lazy Christianity accepts gossip and rumours - true Christianity finds out the truth from God for themselves. Watch all the reports. Listen to TB Joshua's wordsfor yourself. TB Joshua's words were confirmed by the coach himself and TB Joshua gave glory to God. The evidence is quite clear from the footage - unless you simply want to disbelieve truth.

Clearly, all these claims and counter claims are ridiculous and funny, to say the least. 1. The coach confirmed for all to hear and see that indeed he got the prophecy of the outcome of the match from the prophet before the match. 2. The coach also confirmed that the prophet told him that ''something'' will happen in the first half that will change the plan and disrupt the team. (THE RED CARD, WHICH WE ALL SAW) 3. Finally, the coach said that the prophet instructed that the number 10 should take the first penalty kick. All these, happened and it is on record that the prophet NEVER for once ascribed any glory to himself, but glorified God instead. He even went on record to say that he is just like a donkey who the master rides on, and so if an expensive rug or ware is laid on the floor for the donkey to climb on, it is the master that the ware is meant to glorify and not the donkey. He even said that all he told the coach was God's opinion and that he would never have been able to influence the outcome, because God is a God of all nations. With all these, I still find it hard to understand why people like you at peace fm are still bent on hanging this man at all cost for no apparent reason. Please exercise simple intelligence and don’t attempt to play on the intelligence of the masses, because we can decide on our own. Come to think of it, how come this man continues to grow with each bout of criticism that is thrown on his path? You people just offer him free publicity. Somehow, I seem to believe that a good number of people who criticize this man are just not comfortable with the fact that the Ghanaian president has adopted him as his mentor and spiritual leader. Don’t politicize issues that have to do with a prophet of God, and try to ridicule him. It is about time we all accepted the president’s decision and even support it, left to a large number of the masses, we prefer our president to be publicly associated with a man of God rather than privately associated with an occult group or an herbalist.

Prophet TB Joshua has done nothing wrong. Please let us leave everything to God to judge because we are mere humans. Remember the Bible says judge not.

If we call people who give themselves tittles like prophet, pastor, evangelist etc. as "men of God" then what do we call ordinary people without such tittles....."men of devil"? In my opinion, everyone is a man of God so we should learn to call a spade a spade rather than making some people untouchable because they call themselves names.

Kweku Baako is a bitter man and always embittered about nothing. I don't know why he is playing politics with religion and thinks Prophet T.B Joshua is one of the political figures he can easily ridicule. Kweku and Kwame must take care because it is a dangerous thing to touch the man of God with your pen or mouth. Kweku should particularly take care because i know God has sharpen His cutlass ready for dirty kinds like him.
