Cape Coast Technical Institute (Cape-Tech) emerged the Zone One Soccer champions of the Central Region Schools and Colleges annual games competiton held at the Schools and Colleges Park, near Adisadel School.
They beat Aggrey Memorial Zion School 4-3 on penalties to lift the trophy while Eguafo Senior High gained a narrow win over Adisadel School for the third place position.
In the girls' division, Edinaman School beat Aggrey Memorial Zion School 1-0, while Mfantsiman School also pipped Komenda Secondary Technical 1-0 for the third position.
In the hockey competition, the defending champions, Edinaman Senior High beat Adisadel School 3-2 on penalties to retain the trophy while Aburaman Senior High beat Christ the King Academy 1-0 for the third place.
Adisadel School beat Christ the King Academy to lift the handball trophy while Edinaman School beat Cape-Tech 4-2 to win the third position.
In the girls' division, Edinaman School beat Mfantsiman School 5-2 in the finals with Aggrey Memorial Zion beating Komenda Secondary Technical 1-0 to take the place third position.
