The management of New Edubiase United Football Club has expressed gratitude to Sidalco Company Limited, a liquid fertiliser manufacturing company for the sponsorship it had offered the team in the on-going 2009/2010 Glo Premier League.
Kofi Asare Brako, Director of Communications of the club in a statement, said, it was important to note that even though this season's league had been plagued by the delay of the sponsorship money from the major sponsors, Sidalco had not relented in efforts at ensuring that the club was relieved of any financial woes that would hinder the team's performance in the on-going league.
It said, the financial backing of the company would provide a sound footing for the club and motivate the players to record victory over fellow debutants Aduana Stars at Dormaa on Sunday.
"It is interesting therefore to note that their support, which has reflected in our teams performance have ensured an appreciable position on the league table and ensure that we remain in the first four teams by the end of the first round of the season," the statement said.
In another development, Head Coach of the team, Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie has also commended his boys for the scintillating performance put up so far in the league.
The veteran coach said, he has confidence in the calibre of players in camp saying they are in the league to remain in the premiership and play in the next Top Four Competition.
