Obuasi Ashgold thrashed visiting Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals 3-0 in their Glo Premier League match played at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium on Sunday.
Eugene Owusu Prempeh started the goal haul for Ashgold in the 30th minute to end the first half.
Aminu Mohammed made it two for Ashgold in the 55th minute before Theophilus Anobah sealed the doom of Liberty with a well struck shot in the 60th minute.
In a related development at the Anane Boateng sports stadium at Abrankese, current League leaders, Kessben FC spanked visiting Berekum Arsenal 2-0 in their 8th Week Premier League match.
The two goals for Kessben were scored by Edmund Owusu Peprah and Bismark Idan.
