Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has explained that his choice of player selections into the national team is not influenced by any set-up or agent as suggested in the local media.

The Black Stars coach on Wednesday laid to rest suggestions that his player call ups into the senior team are influenced by agent, Goran Milovanovic during a press conference. Rajevac's player invitations into the Black Stars has been under scrutiny for sometime now with the local media suggesting that his choice of players are influenced.

A host of new Black Stars players have been thrown into the issue as benefiting from the coach's relationship with Milovanovic. According to Rajevac, player call ups are not influenced the Ghana Football Association or by who manages a player's interest but strictly on merit.

"I take the decisions to invite players with my technical team," Rajevac said. "Players who are eligible to play are invited on merit, and just on merit. I don't ask about who a player's agent is before we we call them up. "Nobody interferes with my choice of players. When I see a potential in any player, I consider him and that is how it has been and will be. The most important thing is the player's ability to do a good job for the team and Ghana."

Rajevac cautioned that stretching such allegations can only undermine the position of the coach and his technical team. "If there's a need to call a good player and we have to first look at who manages him, then the only option would be to leave out that player and that would rather go against us.

"It means I can't use that player because of this issue. Every player is my boy and I would call anyone who is ready to do a good job for the team and the country when that player is available. "I enjoy a good relationship with my players and also the FA. The FA haven't even tried putting any pressure on me to select a player."

The stars coach should study OWUSU ABAYIE's style of play and add him to his squad to South Africa 2010 world cup. We all saw his performance in the 2008 cup of nations in Ghana. If not, then we shouldn't worry BALLOTELI because we will do the same thing to him too.
