Brothers Jordan and Andre Ayew scored both goals as Olympique Marseille defeated Ajaccio 2-0 in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
Andre Ayew carved out the opener for Marseille ten minutes after the break after heading home from close range before Jordan Ayew came off the bench to seal the win for Elie Baup’s side in the 87th minute.
Marseille played under sustained pressure from their host but were able to prevent them from scoring in the first half.
Andre punished the Ajaccio defence in the 55th minute after they failed to deal with a cross as midfielder Kabore headed the ball back into the box for Andre who headed home for the opener.
Jordan Ayew who came off the bench in the 66th minute to replace Loic Remy sealed the win for the Olympians three minutes before time.
Mathieu Valbuena weighed a cross from the right for Jordan to calmly finish.
