Former Ghana winger Yaw Preko has singled out FC Porto starlet Christian Atsu to flourish at the 2013 AFCON.
Atsu, 21, is dubbed ‘New Messi’ and he is among ten debutants Ghana is parading in South Africa.
The former Fetteh Feyenoord schoolboy’s dexterity and thrilling and exciting movements.
After scoring on his Ghana debut in the 7-0 mauling of minnows Lesotho last June.
Though many pundits are tipping Juventus star Kwadwo Asamoah to excel at the tournament however Yaw Preko who was a member of the Ghana squad that reached the semi-finals of the competition in 1996, is sure Atsu will be revelation at the tournament.
“Atsu is one player who has the qualities to excel at the tournament. He’s a fantastic player and I think he will do well,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.
